Short List of Maternal Femdom in Movies  by Dennis Dun.   Back.

PERSECUTION-- No physical violence in this one, but Lana Turner

does a fine job of bullying her grown son, breaking up his marriage,

stuff like that. He gets even at the end, but up to that point it's

good femdom stuff.

SINS OF THE MOTHER-- True-life TV movie about a mother who

continuously belittled her son and tried to make him break off his

engagement; her motives are explicit lust (dancing with him, kissing

him on the mouth, etc.) Sonny-Boy learns to hate women and becomes a

rapist. Mother is played by Elizabeth Montgomery in what may be her

best dramatic performance.

FEAR-- Obscure horror film, also called THE WAILING, and last

horror film by famed Riccardo Freda. A man grows up thinking that in

childhood he killed his own father; guess who really did it? Probably

the same one who's killing all the guests Sonny invites out to Mom's

house. Eurostar Anita Strindberg isn't seen doing a lot of killing

on camera, but makes it for it with good presence. Contains quote:

"Your mother is a monster of evil."

9 1/2 NINJAS-- one of the few mainstream efforts I've seen with

actual f/m violence between mother and son, but not only is it played

for laughs, Mom is something of a cow, reducing all or most of the

inherent sexiness of the fight-scene. In fact, Mom beats up son

because he won't get into a relationship with a cute young thing.

Slight suggestion at end that the cute young thing will become

somewhat dominant in the relationship.

ARION LORD OF ATLANTIS-- For those with a bent toward bent

comics, this humdrum (but nicely-drawn) fantasy comic book had one

issue (#33) where the title character's evil mom (1) becomes a

giantess and squeezes him, saying things like, "I long to crush the

life from you," (2) tosses him to a bunch of reptillian demons to be

tormented, (3) zaps him with a painful-looking blast of magic, and (4)

tried to drain the life from him with some magical doohickey.
